A string of celebrities from shows including Made In Chelsea, Love Island, Married At First Sight and even Coronation Street have signed up to be E4 Celebs Go Dating 2024 contestants
The line-up for the 2024 season of Celebs Go Dating has been leaked - with a pop icon, a soap star, and reality stars galore hoping to find love on the E4 show.
The 2024 season of the hit reality show will be the thirteenth for the series - but those taking part will be hoping for good luck rather than misfortune while in the pursuit of love. Relationship experts Dr Tara Suwinyattichaip*rn, Paul Carrick Brunson and Anna Williamson are all expected to return - as is receptionist extraordinaire Tom Read Wilson.
And it seems a number of stars who already failed to find love on romance shows in the past have signed up to take part - as recent cast members from Married At First Sight and Love Island are expected to take part. Star power will be added by the inclusion of a chart topping pop singer and a Coronation Street pin-up.
Lime Productions announced that the show would be back for a 2024 season - however an exact air date is yet to be announced. They declared back in March: “The upcoming series promises to deliver an exhilarating mix of dates, mixers, and newfound romances as the new celeb singletons embark on a quest to find their perfect match, guided by the exceptional dating agents. Viewers can anticipate a whirlwind of highs, lows, and unexpected twists in the pursuit of love, all wrapped up with the hilarious side-splitting commentary from the maestro himself Mr Rob Beckett.”
Now The Sun has claimed to have uncovered the full line-up for the new season - with a Made In Chelsea star and a former Gogglebox contestant in the mix. Here is a run down of the celebrities tipped to be taking part.
Helen Flanagan
Coronation Street fans will know that Helen Flanagan’s romantic life has been a bit like a soap storyline in itself in recent years. The 33-year-old actress, who plays Rosie Webster on the ITV soap, had been set to marry footballer Scott Sinclair with whom she shares three children before the relationship abruptly collapsed in October 2022 after a 13 year romance.
Since then, Helen has tentatively dipped her toes back into the dating world - and has revealed that she often seeks the approval of her children before she heads out on dates. However, it looks like Helen is not having luck finding love for herself, so is said to have turned to the Celebs Go Dating team to help her find a romance worth her time.
Helen previously shared a video of herself talking about dating with her young daughter, Matilda. While the youngster was quick to compliment her mum before she headed out o a date, the actress admitted she was “nervous” to be getting out dating again.
Jamelia
Chart superstar Jamelia has been linked to the hit E4 show. The 43-year-old singer and actress shot to fame in the early 2000s thanks to her music career.
She has released three hit albums and was one of the artists involved in the chart topping 2004 charity single Do The Know It’s Christmas?. Her own smash hits include the 2003 banger Superstar and the 2004 track Thank You - which just missed out on the top single slot, reaching number 2.
Jamelia - who has also acted in shows including Hollyoaks and Death in Paradise, and serves as a Loose Women panelist from 2013 until 2016 - is a mum-of-four and was previously married to footballer Darren Byfield. They tied-the-knot in 2008 but announced their divorce in 2019.
Tristan Phipps
Made In Chelsea hunk Tristan Phipps has seen many of his romances play out in front of cameras as a member of the cast of the E4 show. His most recent romance on the show was with co-star Olivia Bentley, with the relationship collapsing in 2023 following a string of arguments.
The 29-year-old was born in South Africa - where he also used to work as a safari guide. Away from reality TV, he has set up a company called Bellr which delivers home plants in an eco-friendly manner.
He is something of an amateur photographer, with his Instagram page filled with impressive images of wildlife and scenic views. While fans may also feel jealous as they scroll through snapshots of his life - showing fast cars, exotic holidays, and an impressive style sense.
Chris Taylor
Reality star Chris Taylor really has been unlucky in Love - having appeared on Love Island twice and still failing to find a romance that lasts. The 33-year-old first appeared on the ITV show in 2019 as a contestant on the fifth season of the show.
He returned to the villa in South Africa at the beginning of this year for the first ever season of Love Island: All Stars which saw past contestants return to the show to try again. But Chris got pied off by Arabella Chi and ultimately got dumped from the Island after three weeks.
The star unexpectedly met Australian film star Margot Robbie - who has long confessed to being a huge fan of Love Island. And the chance encounter even led to him having a part in the blockbuster Barbie movie produced by the Aussie babe.
Ella Morgan
Fans of Married At First Sight will recall Ella Morgan caused havoc on the show last year when she ditched her husband, Nathanial Valentino, and then got together with John Joe 'JJ' Slater. The move was seen as something of a betrayal by some of the other female contestants - but viewers were warmed by 30-year-old’s love journey.
Ella also made history on the show as the first transgender bride. However, her romance ended in tears as she and JJ failed to make their romance work.
Ella then faced something of a betrayal of her own months after the show as JJ sparked up a romance with her friend Katie Price. Ella lashed out over the pairing, accusing Katie of breaking the girl code by getting with JJ without consulting her first.
Stephen Lustig-Webb
Divorced Gogglebox star Stephen Lustig-Webb will be hoping to boost his star power as well as his chances of securing come love if he takes part in the E4 show. He had been due to participate in ITV’s Dancing On Ice at the beginning of this year - but was forced to withdraw before the show even began to air due to injury.
During his time on Gogglebox, 52-year-old Stephen first co-starred alongside boyfriend Chris Steed. But the pair bitterly split in 2017. He then started appearing on the show with then-boyfriend Daniel and the pair got married in 2018.
But in April this year, Stephen announced his divorce plans - with a statement declaring: "It's with much sadness Daniel and I have decided to divorce. There is, and always will be, a lot of love there but we've unfortunately grown apart and made the decision to part ways. We've made the decision with a very heavy heart to confirm our marriage has come to an end. I'm sure we will forever be friends."
